The Savage Era A quote from "The Old Days: A History of the Savage Era From the Beginning of Time to the 3rd Century" recorded by Marcellus Nottus Ah, the Savage Era. The beginning of our recorded history. As it is the beginning of our timeline, we don't know much about it. However it can be concluded that is was the, hence the name, most savage of eras.
You see, there was no Empire or Roma back then. Only small groups of different species strewn across the land. You would see wolf packs, families of lynxes, wildcats, maybe, so rarely even back then, a group of golden jackals. As you can already tell, there was no organization, leadership, or any sort of civilized manners.
As is expected with beings with no conscious thoughts of any of their actions, they brought war against each other. It was..ah, yes. Each species, or group of a certain species, for themselves and for themselves it was.
The first thing on our prehistoric predator minds was to eliminate any other being that looked even slightly different and then eat whoever we killed afterwards.
